Guarducci Stained Glass Studios is owned and operated by David Guarducci, a third-generation artisan, whose skills are based on traditional European stained glass craftsmanship. At the age of 12 years old, he began his tutelage in New York City at the stained glass studio of his grandfather Vincent Margagliotti, a master craftsman of stained glass artistry and design. David’s parents were also gifted and well-known artists. His father Otello was a renowned sculptor and his mother Iris a world class Pulitzer Prize winning painter. While still in college at Adelphi University in Garden City New York, David opened his first studio in 1973 and after graduating he devoted himself full time to a career in stained glass that has spanned over 5 decades.
